Connection Erie Pilot: A Vision for a More Walkable, Vibrant Neighborhood

Connecting Erie is a community-driven initiative to make Census Tract 19 the most mobile neighborhood in Erie, connecting the vibrant social and commercial assets between Little Italy and Federal Hill – one of the city’s most unique districts for living, working, worshipping, shopping, and dining. Through near-term interventions and long-term planning, we aim to improve public spaces, support local businesses, and elevate the neighborhood experience for residents and visitors alike.
