Ribbon Cutting for “Tiopoff” – Erie’s First Basketball Court Mural!

LOCATION: Ruby Schaaf Park, 1902 Myrtle Street (corner of 19th & Myrtle)

Join Erie Arts & Culture and the SSJ Neighborhood Network on Thursday, June 26, from 11:30 AM – 12:15 PM at Ruby Schaaf Park (19th & Myrtle Streets) to celebrate the unveiling of “Tipoff,” Erie County’s very first basketball court mural, created by artist Ceasar Westbrook.

This vibrant public artwork transforms a neighborhood court into a dynamic canvas for creativity, community, and pride. The celebration will feature guest speakers, a ceremonial ribbon cutting, and light refreshments.

This mural was made possible by SSJ Neighborhood Network and local tax credit partners Highmark and Marquette Savings Bank, as part of the PA DCED Neighborhood Partnership Program.
